The level 1 freedivers class that I took March 10-11 2018 was one of the best choices I could have made. I am an avid offshore fisherman but inexperienced in the free diving world. This class opened my eyes to safety and responsibility in the water. As well as some exceptional techniques to increase my time underneath the water. Matthew Pasa was my instructor and can’t imagine taking it with another instructor. The conditions weren’t the best for our ocean day but he offered us a make up due to the conditions. I will make sure that he is the instructor on my make up day. Highly recommend this level 1 course to anyone interested in entering the freediving world.

Matt was a very patient and friendly instructor who obviously knows his stuff and enjoys passing this information on. No ego trips or military style tactics with this guy, very professional and level headed.

My experience taking the level 1 freediving course was more than I expected and was very informative. Our instructor Matthew Pasa was extremely thorough and patient. He answered all of our questions with a very good knowledge of the subject. His training and friendliness to everyone's needs was what I needed to get through the class. I look forward to going out diving with him again to polish up my skills as a newly certified freediver!

Matthew Pasa with @teachmetofreedive and Florida Freedivers was an excellent instructor with vast knowledge of the physiology of Freediving as well as great, calm instruction in the water.
