With no freediving experience, I attended the Level 1 class at Florida Freedivers with Instructor Virgil Price. Virgil took time with each of the students to make sure we were safe and successful. He gave me a lot of confidence and I was able to hold my breath longer and dive much deeper than I ever thought possible. I recommend Virgil to anyone looking to get into this sport safely.

What an amazing experience! I signed up for the level 1 freediving class with Oliver by chance when I googled a level 1 class near me and clicked on the drift freediving website. I had previously taken a level 1 course with Fl freedivers but was unable to complete the course due to weather and had a bad experience trying to reschedule so I decided to start from scratch. After I signed up for the course I stopped by the Drift freediving store located near my house and was pleased to find out that the man behind the counter was actually going to be my instructor for the course. Oliver helped me choose all the gear needed for the course and was extremely knowledgeable of the equipment and able to work with my budget I had for the course. This same personal relationship continues through the course with small class sizes and 1 on 1 instruction throughout all portions of the course. Oliver provided me with the knowledge and confidence to freedive safely to depths I never thought possible. Taking the course with my girlfriend ,who is also my dive buddy, I have a greater sense of confidence in the water knowing that we are both trained in dealing with the dangers of freediving and managing blackout scenarios. I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to dive with and learn from Oliver and will continue to support a dive shop and dive instructor that truly care about the sport.

I had the pleasure of being instructed by David for my level one certification. I did not have prior experience freediving so I was somewhat nervous. David was not only knowledgeable and thorough in the classroom setting but was also very patient with everyone and made sure we felt comfortable and safe during our dives! Course was great! It was amazing to see people brand new to the sport learn so fast. Even for myself, I have been free diving the last 5 years and I wish I started with Martin’s program before I ever bought a pair of Freedive fins. This course is a must!
