This was a great class, greatly enhanced by the conscientious and explicit caring provided by Instructor Virgil Price. His passion and enthusiasm are infectious, as he really shares this technical sport, in which he is extremely accomplished. After the classroom work at FL Freedivers, we went to the PBC Park for our water training, since the NPB CC Pool normally used is under construction (our misfortune). When the S. FL weather produced a severe lightning storm, Virgil made special accommodations to help us complete the Static Apnea instructions and I hit personal best, 1.5 minutes longer than I'd ever done before. That is exhilarating! The next day, out in Virgil's Amazing Office (the Gulfstream off Palm Beach) we were well taken care of and inspired by what we could do, both now and in the future. Our class received a Fantastic introduction to another new lifelong passion, made even more exciting by Virgil's inspiring instruction. And, the entire class got 100% on the final test, a first, and another testament to Virgil's instruction skills. I highly recommend him, if you are able to get in his class.

Free diving with Drift has been so much fun. I feel blessed to have completed the level-I course at this stage in my life. The first time I saw the 20 meter-target at the end of the line, I said "S..". I cannot deny it; afraid of failure and blackout at worst. I stayed positive; by not letting fear overtake me. My confidence was restored after the completion of the warm up drills with the rope at 5 meter marks. The course exceeded my expectations. Safety and rescue were hugely important for me. I love the way the instructor Oliver articulates and shows the techniques in the water. Peace of mind and go-for-it attitude supported knowing that the instructor had my back. The instructor Oliver posses many of the qualities of a great sport coach: positive, enthusiastic, supportive, trusting, focused, goal-oriented, knowledgeable, observant, respectful, patient and a clear communicator. I can't wait to go at it again to practice safety and technique learned in the course. Looking forward to keep in touch with the instructor, staff and students of Drift Freediving.

I have nothing but great things to say about Oliver. He is extremely patient with his students, intelligent on the subject matter, and he practices what he teaches. He was able to break down complex physiology in a simple and easy to digest manner. Also, he was well conditioned to be able to dive with all of his students, even on our deepest attempts. His feedback was invaluable on our technique; he spent appropriate time with his students to correct areas that needed improvement. He took the time to record our dives, analyze our strengths and deficits, and explain how to improve. I highly recommend taking your level 2 course with Oliver!
